DELETE/packages/{group_id}/cargo/api/v1/crates/{crate_name}/{version}/yank
Yank a crate version (`cargo yank`)
yank_cargo
package:write
A token needs thepackage:writescope: Publish packages and yank versionsGranted bywrite_api.Every operation this scope unlocksAudited · mutation
x-gitmoap-audit: {"kind":"audited","arg":"mutation"}
Marks the version yanked in the index, so Cargo stops choosing it for new dependency resolution while builds whose lockfile already names it can still download it. Nothing is deleted, and unyanking reverses it. Developers and above may yank.
